The Venue
Vows in the meadow, dinner in the barn, dancing under string lights. Private, unhurried weddings for people who'd rather celebrate on a farm than in a ballroom.

Growing in Carroll County, Maryland
Second chances, first dances.
A wedding venue · a flower farm · a farm animal rescue
The story
Nesting Meadows is a veteran-owned family project: a place in the Carroll County countryside where couples will marry among flowers we grew ourselves, and where rescued farm animals live out their days as the heart of it all.
Right now it's a test row of white sunflowers in a backyard, a stack of paperwork, and a plan we believe in. The land comes next. If you like watching something real get built — welcome. You're early, and early is the best seat.
What we're planting

Test rows · sown now
Rescued goats, sheep, donkeys, and hens with names, stories, and nowhere else to go. They'll greet you at cocktail hour. Every booking feeds them.

Field notes
An honest ledger. We'll keep it current as each row fills in.
Soil test ordered, a backyard bed marked out, and white sunflower seed on the way. Sixty square feet of proof-of-concept. Sown.
The LLC, the name, this website, and the long checklist of very unromantic paperwork that makes the romantic part possible.
Tulips and daffodils planted for spring stems, and the first bridal-bouquet trials from the test rows.
The search for the meadow itself — acreage, an old barn with good bones, and neighbors we'll be proud to have.
In that order. We'll show you all of it.
For couples
Our first season's dates will open to this list before anywhere else — and founding couples will get pricing that says thank you for believing in a place while it was still a field. No spam, no countdown timers. Just an email when there's something real to tell you.
